Strangely enough hockey helmets, for the pros, at least, are a relatively new thing. It wasn't until 1979 that they were implemented as a mandatory safety feature. The first helmets were worn way back in the 20's, and the very last was worn (by Craig MacTavish) in 1997. It was almost a sign of weakness and players were often mocked (in the 30s) for wearing them (the Toronto Maple Leafs tried to force their players to wear them at the time).
When it comes to your collectible hockey helmets, from your favorite team, kids or signed ones, you want to keep them in pristine condition for all time while creating an attractive display. We offer a variety of finishes in wall mounted and shelf display cases. All of our team logo hockey cases are officially licensed by the NHL. We have been protecting your sports memorabilia since 2003.
