Arizona Coyotes Goalie Mini Hockey Helmet Display
How To Clean Your Display Case
National Hockey League
The first goalie to play in a Coyotes jersey was Nikolai Khabibulin who was born in Sverdlvk, USSR and nicknamed the Bulin Wall. He was originally drafted in the 9th Round (204th overall) by the Winnipeg Jets in the 1992 Entry Draft. His nickname was fitting as during his career in Winnipeg and later in Phoenix he collected a number of team records. In fact, Khabibulin still holds or shares sixteen different team records. He went on to play with the Tampa Bay Lightning and then Chicago Blackhawks and Edmonton Oilers in his NHL career. Khabibulin played his first Phoenix Coyotes game October 5, 1996 against the Whalers in Hartford. Hockey sports memorabilia collectors know goalie collectibles are unique as they are different from all other collectibles. A fine example is mini hockey helmets.
