Montreal Canadiens Goalie Mini Hockey Helmet Box
How To Clean Your Display Case
National Hockey League
A total of three goalies have had their jersey numbers retired by the Montreal Canadiens. Jacques Plante (1952-1963) wore #1, Ken Dryden (1970-1979) wore #29 and Patrick Roy (1984-1996) wore #33. Three great goalies with very different styles and many different records. For example, Jacques Plante became the first goalie in professional hockey history to wear a mask, which was manufactured by Fibreglass Canada in 1959. It took a while for the practice to catch on, but it is now a standard piece of hockey equipment for all goalies regardless of age or league from youngster’s right up to old-timers. Mini helmets have become a popular collectible piece of sports memorabilia. They are affordable in comparison to the full sized helmet and mask worn by goalies and as they are a unique scaled down version, they attract a lot of attention when in a collection. If you have mini helmets you can keep them protected and dust free in our Montreal Canadiens Horizontal View Mini Hockey Helmet Display Case.
