The Nashville Predators have only had sixteen goalies in franchise history. That’s not unusual for a young franchise and there were a total of four different ones who played for the team during their first NHL season (1998-1999). Mike Dunham (#1) played his first game October 10, 1998 against Florida Panthers. Eric Fichaud (#35) played his first Predators game in Chicago against the Blackhawks on October 24, 1998. Tomas Vokoun (#29) stated his Nashville Predators career in Vancouver against the Canucks on November 7, 1998 and Chris Mason (#30) played his first Predators game against the Mighty Ducks in Anaheim on December 16, 1998.
Goalies have interesting sports collectibles with the most unique of them being mini helmets. Mini helmets are a scaled down version of the real full sized helmets worn by hockey goalies. If you have any you’ll want to keep them protected in our popular Nashville Predators Horizontal View Mini Hockey Helmet Display Case.
Inside dimensions are: 8" Width, 5" Depth, 6" Height.
