Pittsburgh Penguins Single Hockey Puck Display Case
How To Clean Your Display Case
National Hockey League
The gold triangle that is part of the Pittsburgh Penguins jersey logo has some significance as does the team name. The downtown core of the City of Pittsburgh is called the Golden Triangle. The Penguins started their NHL career playing in the Pittsburgh Civic Arena which was known locally as The Igloo. The Penguins are not the only NHL team to call Pittsburgh home. In fact, the first Pittsburgh NHL team was called the Pirates and they played in the league from 1925 to 1930. The Pirates name is probably best known as that of a MLB team based in the same community. The Penguins have only won three Stanley Cups since joining the NHL as part of the 1967 expansion with their first one won in 1990-1991 with a second the following season. Their third Stanley Cup victory was in 2008-2009. The Pittsburgh Penguins have had some great players on their team and souvenirs from the team are popular collectibles. If you have any of their hockey pucks store them in our Pittsburgh Penguins Single Hockey Puck Display Case.
