The ‘new’ Winnipeg Jets had three goalies who were ‘transferred’ May 21, 2011 when they came north along with the relocating Atlanta Thrashers team. Chris Mason played his first Jets game October 15, 2011 and went to Nashville as a free agent the following season. Peter Mannino played his first Jets game November 10, 2011 and became a free agent the following season. Ondrej Pavelec played his first game as a Jet October 9, 2011 and has gone on to capture a number of league and team records including career most losses, career most goals allowed, career most points, season most minutes played, season most shutouts, season most shots faced and career most wins to name just a few. Pavelec started his NHL career in Atlanta where he was drafted in the second round (41st overall) in 2005.
